2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

What a complete kick in the nuts watching all of these megas get built. RAM really hosed us early orders on this. I should have ordered a second truck when I was joking about it. They can’t blame the damn mirrors or the aisin or the 3500 or any other excuse anymore when they keep cranking limited longhorns daily.

Has anyone had any movement at all on the bighorn 2500 with Cummins , ordered 6-24 and still getting the same waste of breath from ram splat, very frustrating watching these trucks get built that was order a month ago, happy for the guys getting them though.

This is almost verbatim what I sent my dealer. Almost a shame on me for being loyal and an early order.

Listen dudes.... things can happen fast. I went from D to D1 late last week. This week I went to KZ and the truck is on a train in Mexico pointing north east. So in a few days I went from looking for parts to build to.... it's done been built, QC tested and loaded into a rail car. Boom! Sold my 2021 back to the dealer this evening and I'm waiting for the 2022 to get delivered. In the meanwhile I'll be driving my 2004 Grand Prix.....

I bought the 2031 3 months back for $72900 and sold it back today for $72000.

I couldn't wait, so I went home and tried this sequence. Actually tried it twice, unfortunately, screen still blank o_O

Someone asked if I checked the fuses and relays...I looked under the hood and no fuse or relay is labeled as "screen" or "Uconnect" or "radio". Any idea where those may be?? Maybe by the pedals?
It probably isn’t labeled radio. If it is it will probably be with several different modules on a fuse like ics. Idk if you feel like messing with it or not but I know when I used to work on them normally it was a miscommunication between the actual radio and the screen. They are two separate things. That being said IF you felt like it take the screen off unplug it and plug it back in and see what happens. Used to fix a lot of them that went black by doing that. Sometimes the pins are a little loose or had a bad fit up when it got plugged in at the factory. That being said it’s been almost a year sense I’ve touched one but doubt much has changed.

Did the 2031 have the new cab and 8 speed?

Ordered my 2022 Longhorn Mega Cab 3500 HO on 8/16. Built on 9/29. Currently awaiting shipment. Window sticker / build sheet available.

How in the hell is all this happening?
Ordered a Laramie mega 3500 HO on 8/7. They can’t even tell me when it’ll be built.
On another note , Congratulations, hope the truck serves you well.

This is interesting. It appears they are building DRW orders ahead of SRW wheels in some trims. This build includes everything on my 3500 CC Laramie... but mine is a SRW. I have seen a few scenarios like this.
Based on geometry I would bet there is a different line dedicated for DRW vs SRW

New cab, yes. No 8 speed due to ongoing supply chain issues. This one is a Laramie and in the background is the Big Horn. Bad news, though. Diesel is now illegal. Supreme Leader Ocasio Cortez outlawed it a few years back. Good news is you can increase the horsepower by just adding horses.

I was thinking the same when I received the update this morning. I would read these forums daily, seeing people with June orders still in “D” status was disheartening, then out of nowhere my truck in 1 month went from D-KZ status. It is clear that Ram does not retain chronological order upon allocating gate line schedules.

Well this is my latest from Ramchat. Does this mean I should be getting my window sticker soon?
