My new truck was released for shipping a week ago but it is still waiting to be loaded on a train.

2019 ram 3500, laramie, 4x4, crew cab, 8 foot bed, dually, 6 seats!
H.O 6.7, aisin trans, 4.10 gearing
Black, sport appearance (painted bumpers, handles and mirrors etc)
12 inch uconnect
Air assist
Laramie level 2 package.

Ordered this truck few weeks ago and still no vin number released. Strange.

Outgoing truck.
2013 ram 3500 4x4 crew cab long box laramie dually.
Aisin trans. 4.10 gears.
Fully deleted, bd screamer turbo.
Been a great truck, looking forward to the newer one.

I ordered the sport appearance, almost black package. As the black isnt a option on dually for some reason. Gives me same thing minus the grille insert i believe.

I don't have a delivery estimate yet. Today I gave the vin# to ram chat and they said all the parts needed to build it were there and it's waiting for a build slot.

Gotcha. Out of curiosity, how long after you ordered did you receive a VIN?

I got the vin today so that's 2 weeks from when I ordered. I contacted the dealer today to get the vin so I can't confirm when the vin was actually issued.

Has anybody determined whether the Auxiliary Trailer Camera Prep Group (needed for a remote trailer camera) is available as mentioned elsewhere in this forum? I don't see anyone ordering such a thing or see any on dealer lots listing that prep. group. Ram news releases mention this provides a different wiring Pin connector at the rear of the truck 12 pin vs 7.

I haven't yet. I keep looking, but nothing up to this point. When I place my order I will be inquiring at that time as it's a feature we want on our truck. At this point, I have a feeling it is a part that will be installed by the dealer rather than the factory.
