2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Have never seen that screen at the dealer. Just asked about it and the sales person nor the sales manager have seen that screen. Hmmm, who could run that?
Special people with internal access at FCA

Ask them specifically what the current build plan is. But just FYI and not that it means anything but my mega is about 56000 vins before yours and I’m still D, scheduled for 10/18

Wow. 5 months and it hasn’t even hit the line yet. That’s incredible. I hope that schedule holds for you!

Has anyone with a Laramie and blind spot have their truck go to the build phase or been built already? I see all kinds of 2022 Laramie's with window stickers but I have not seen one with blind spot yet.
Mine has those options and is in JS...

Maybe vin: 3C6UR5TL4NG160077 will be at the same time.... I do not have any active hook ups in RAM or FCA. All my folks are retired.

Just asked to see how long it takes a truck to go down the line from start to finish.
Thanks for making that inquiry, can't wait to hear how long it takes. Not even sure why I care other than it is a cool process and I would love to be able to get an assembly line tour. Ramchat email me last week and said all parts are sourced and that it should be built 10/4 or 10/11, hoping for 10/4 but an extra week at this point of waiting, ordered 6/8, won't be the end of the world...

Wow Sandi must be getting even more slammed as orders keep pouring in. Went from check back in two weeks, to 3 to 4 weeks, to 4 to 5 weeks.

The screen referenced above is not a dealer screen but something insiders can access, it has popped up a few times here but doesn’t say much more than a POC would

Thats crazy, here i am working 20hr weeks since we have no work currently. Maybe its time to find a new shop for me to work at.

Hope they can get you taken care of, and I hope one of the insurance companies isn't GEICO lol. From the body/mechanic side, they are by far the worst to deal with.

And yeah I hear ya about the rental man, I know first hand how bad the rental industry has been for the past year. Its been absolutely crazy!
GEICO is one of them. They suck. I have been on them big time and that has helped move it forward faster. When the shop estimate came out they had an adjuster out there the next day. I might eat up the policy on the rental coverage for a comp truck. Allstate is the other one. It is sad when your customers do more work than the adjusters.

I would have been pissed if I wanted this long for a truck and this happened again. I can say to all truck buyers, don't go with state min insurance (25/50/25). If you can afford a 60-80K truck you better have 100/300/100

You should really only be counting from the day they started building 22's which I believe is 8/9/21. You are only setting yourself up for disappointment by continuing to count from the day you ordered. It's not realistic in my opinion.

If you feel like moving to AZ I can connect you with at least 3-4 solid shops that are slammed busy and need quality help. PM me if interested!
I appreciate it, but not looking to move to the other side of the country (curantly in NC). Maybe in a year or two when my 2022 gets delivered I might feel differently.

Coming from a former GEICO employee/claimant/ARX tech, i feel your pain. I truly do. They treat their employees and shops worse than their customers for what it's worth.

Not a realistic time from production maybe but his order should have been in line to be produced before all these later orders.

Thats true. The issue lies in the fact that I ordered on May 07 (first day of '22 ordering) and you would think that when RAM started building, they would build on a first ordered first built basis.... unfortunately, that isnt happening as we are seeing recent orders being built before earlier orders. That's my current heartache...

Hi everyone. A few things of interest. I put a vin of one of my first 2022s to invoice into the incentive configurator. There are a few incentives still showing for the Vin. But, that might be due to the date it was ordered (prior to the Oct 1 change). I will continue to let everyone know what I find. Also, I know I let a few of you down by not answering emails quickly. My apologies! It is hard to respond to more than 20-30 emails per day from the forum and build vehicles out on each one, mostly in the evening after work. And many of you have received emails after midnight, 1a, 4a, etc. Trust me when I say I want to help everyone. Right now, we are at 1% under, but I'm trying to get that back to 2%. Our down pay is now $3k, reduced from 5k), which we do because if we order in your name and deliver to someone else, they cut off ordering privileges for 30-90 days. Whether you order from me or not, I will always try to be here to help the forum with any new info I find out that may be of help. Be well everyone! :-D
