2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

hard question. My dealer said i was in D1 on Monday, and then tuesday someone else told me i was in JS, which is storage. So by that rate they didnt even paint my truck
It goes into what they call storage several times during and after the build and during shipping.

My limited now has a window sticker, I believe that means it’s been shipped. The end is almost near. Hopefully there are some of yours packed on the train with mine.

According to this post, a window sticker is created when it's in KZ-L (released but not shipped) or KZ-M (first rail departure). I got my window sticker yesterday and I hope that means it's in KZ-M. Will touch base with my dealer next week to check. Either way, I'm excited!

I saw someone post a thread that the 22 configurator is up for Canada so I had to take a look and see what's different about new models & features. I know others have mentioned that the trim rings for the cluster have been changed to black and saw a pic finally and they look great! I also noticed another feature that I've never seen before, could be available on newer truck bit not sire as I have an '04, "one person trailer light check". You turn the option on and it cycles brake, turn signals and park lights for you to check.

Man that would be a sweet little item to have. Simple and sweet.

Also found it under the 2021:

Some interesting differences I noticed when trying to build a truck using the Canadian configurator. The Laramie level packages are still identified as A and B, rather than C and D as they are here in the US now. Content looks the same however, from what I remember. Also the ability to select the stand alone cargo camera or trailer tire monitoring with Level A isn't possible, it forces you to spec Level B to get those options. Interesting to see if any of that carries over to the US versions. They don't have the reported new color, Harvest Sunrise, listed either for those trying to get an idea of what exactly that will look like.

Has anyone seen Harvest Sunrise in any media anywhere? I can’t come up with anything.

The Canada configurator is a little tricky with its picks.

Someone posted a digital image a few pages back of a 1500 Classic, but that's all I've seen. I haven't been able to find anything on the net.

I thought I read that the black cluster was only for the Limited...but hope that makes it to the Laramie. Looks great!

Ram is notorious for being slow to update the system over model years.

The worst part is for us as dealers having to order trucks the first 2 months of a model year without even knowing the base price.

Granger, Iowa was my boyhood hometown. August 2021 was visiting family in Granger and decided to stop in at Granger Motors to see how they'd deal on ordering a 2022 RAM 3500 BH 4X4 DRW. (The dealers in Las Vegas, NV all wanted MSRP +$15K; The NV dealers wouldn't even order a 2022 RAM HD for less than MSRP.) Trent & Ron were great and offered me a deal at roughly 2% under invoice. I was happy to wait for the truck to arrive, which I would then drive back to Las Vegas. One of the specific questions I asked when I placed the $1,000 deposit was, "If there were any promotions offered before I took delivery of the 3500, would I receive those same promotions." Their response was, "Yes, any new promotions would apply." I departed Granger and have patiently awaited the multi-month arrival of my new 2022 RAM HD.

On September 24, 2021, Zach Westrum, dealer principal at Granger Motors posted in HDRAMS they would offer 4% under dealer invoice. I thought great and sent an email the same day to [email protected] requesting the invoice minus 4% deal. Although it took awhile to get a response, I'm pleased to share that the Granger Motors Team honored their word and indicated the invoice minus 4% would apply to my August 2021 order. It is really fantastic dealing with a reputable dealer. Well done -- Zach Westrum & Granger Motors Team!!!

I ordered my 3500 CC Laramie 05/07 from Scott Reber here in Vegas for invoice. That was well before RAM let us know of any prices or details on the new truck. He does invoice on all of the trucks he sells. You can probably negotiate holdbacks too which would get you under invoice. Just saying, not all Vegas dealers are bad.

So quick question, a few weeks ago I had a D status and an estimated build of 10/25. Today I got an update of C status and build date of 1-1-99. What has happened to my build? Is it about to move forward to D 1, or am I a lost cause?
My dealer texted me last Friday telling me the same thing and sent a screen shot, which i posted last week. The date of the C status was my order date, so that didn't seem correct for me. I found out this week that I am in D1 status, but the est. dates were still in August, so no idea what is really going on.
