Around here that’s when I would have to draw the line….chalk one across the living room, or just cancel the truck and reorder….then get a lawyer and file for loss of affection. It’s real, my daughter was sued for it after she hit someone the couple said they could not have sex for over a month. I thought Hell, I ain’t got non in 3 years, can I sue too?

Does anyone know if the night edition uses smoked clearance lamps? If they don't anyone have experience replacing them with after-market?

Clearance lamps aren’t part of Night Edition. But if you ordered clearance lamps, they’re all smoked.

I feel some of your pain. When I got my window sticker recently, I discovered my truck was ordered with wheel-to-wheel chrome steps, not the power fold that come standard on the limited. Ram doesn’t give a discount for that option change either.

Like you, it’s gonna be a different look. Wife was less than thrilled too!

Reorder and hope for better build time - I had understood that they only started building the 2022's recently and there are still 2021's in the line to be finished - current dealer estimate is 8-12 weeks (????) - local dealer still waiting on 2 high end 2021's with VIN but no Build Sheet yet. See if they can Dealer swap for something more acceptable - there are 2022s hitting some dealers that are not sold - as well as late 2021's showing "Being Built" or "In Transit" on dealer sites - mostly 2500's but a few 3500's - maybe they can find a 2021 that a dealer would be glad to swap. Or decide Black is easier to keep clean, the Laramie's brown interior is pretty light.

I have a mega Laramie on order that is pearl white with the black. Same color as the wife’s Escalade. Really like the white exterior on an all black interior. Light colored interiors are a pain to keep clean

They are part of the Snow Chief's package. Don't think you can get that package with Night ED, but you can order them as a stand alone option for $95.
Edit: But your DRW will come with them.

36973 here. That’s why I got no movement… I was ordered on 7/28, still a few weeks later that they stopped the A/B levels so that would make sense. I’m level B.
 
Ordered 7/16, Laramie, Cummins - so thrilled for those seeing movement on their trucks, that's exciting. The upside to no movement on my truck yet is the plant is getting practice building the new 2022s and mine should be a perfect build when it finally moves to the line - :p

The lens appears clear and my last two trucks I thought were clear. Sold them so can't run out and look lol.
