Yep it's supposed to arrive at the dealer tonight any minute. If it did, I'll pick it up Saturday. It's in Kentucky though, I'm in NE Ohio, lil bit of a drive. But yeh, can't wait!

Oh, yeah, that's a looong way to buy a truck. Sure.

Smack in the middle of the the dark days of COVID (May 3, 2020), when vehicle manufacturers thought the world came to an end), I drove from San Antonio, TX to Performance CJDR in Columbus Ohio to trade my 2019 Laramie 1500 in for a deal on a "special inventory" 2019 Limited 2500 SRW Hemi for 26% off MSRP at $54K! FCA turned a few of those trucks loose with $14K rebates from FCA plus dealer discounts.

I still think of that as the score of a lifetime, despite putting 1,233 miles on my new truck, to get it home. Of course, I've since traded that truck in for a little more than I paid for it...and I'm on the verge of trading the next truck in on a 2022. Crazy values these days!

got the build sheet today form my dealer after ordering 8/30 , rep was on holidays , was disapointed to not see a vin but i ordered with a sunroof and was told thats why theres no vin .. anyone else order with a sunroof in the same boat ? hoping it doesn't take too long to get a vin and a build date ...

I ordered a Limited 2500 with sunroof on 9/9 and had a VIN 2 days later.

Definitely not. Supply/demand...and we have plenty of demand. My local dealer...has $3K of dealer add-ons on which they won't budge. Part of that is like $800 for satellite tracking...helloooo, the truck includes that to start with! So, I don't shop there...but, their service is top notch.

Yeah I wouldn’t go to that dealer that’s ridiculous. Hate those useless addons that are sold for 100% + profit

My build sheet popped up today so production must have started? Loaded Laramie 2500 CC Long Bed with most of the tech options. Ordered 7/10. Funny it was already on the tracker before I saw it had updated.

You’ll get your truck around this time next year at the rate they’re going. Lol. Naw hopefully sooner, I ordered 10 days before you and I’m hoping I see it by Xmas.

Still in D status. Ordered 8/28. Who knows when my mega Laramie will be here.

Picking up this one owner truck tomorrow. Can’t take it anymore. Must go camping.

It will cost me about $70 to fly from DFW to Houston and they will meet me at airport and I will drive it back up to Fort Worth… Plus about $40 in fuel for the drive back… so $110 to get it to my house…

I'm also in Ft Worth, maybe they will arrive together and we fly down to caravan! ordered 6/14

Sunroof should have no impact on receiving your VIN. VIN typically comes within a few days of an accepted order. Your dealer or RAM Chat can give you your VIN.
