2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Whats your VIN?
Latest on my 22 Ram 2500 Limited Mega Cab, midnight edition with sunroof. I got this message on Monday but the site was down. Truck has been fully assembled and has an ETA of 09/23-Oct 1. That's pretty much any day now.

I ordered 07/06 so not bad at all..

Scheduled est. to ship this morning 9/23 @1:59AM however still in D1 w/no build sheet. Ram Chat did have a updated response from the normal "All parts have been ordered and production is about to start shortly" -

"I am thrilled to let you know, your vehicle is now about to enter assembly,
scheduling status currently. Congratulations! We lack an ETA at this time but
please keep in touch with us for the very latest. I am glad I was able to get
that update to you, remember, we are available 24/7 for you."

I tried adding it on my phone to that sheet y'all made but did something wrong. Probably should've done it on my desktop

What's your initial thoughts on the Rambox and the smaller bed space? The pic you posted of the bed makes it look pretty narrow. Thanks and congrats on taking delivery

I have the RamBox on my 1500. The narrower bed is a little deceiving as the RamBox essentially only covers the wheel wells. Basically, if you can slide a piece of plywood (or anything) between the wheel wells of a truck without RamBox, you will be able to fit that item in a truck with RamBox. You really only lose the space above the wheels. To be honest, I use them so much I won't own another truck without them, super convenient for my uses.

I just made an edit to my post for clarification. Our 2020 has the knob, it's fine. It's because Gas is standard on every trim. Spec lingo essentially. Trust me, they aren't changing the column on the Cummins anytime soon.
I’m sure the two could be swapped out. Maybe. I remember swapping my column shifter out for the centre console gear lever from a 1500 back in my 2010 ram HD. It made for easier snow pliéing and only cost about $700 or so. It was a straight plug and play swap too

No way,no how.

Well we all knew this was coming. Lets hope it’s just a week idle and not 3. Congrats to everyone who has a built truck squeak out of the plant on a train before they shut down.
This is what everyone with early orders was worrying about. Now we have dealers with trucks and people with recent orders… but most of the early people are still waiting. Not a good look RAM, but we know corporate won’t care.

Man I think I have a problem. I got chills, sweats, my hands were clammy and I had the shakes all day yesterday not being able to log on to the waiting room. I think I need a therapist….
The withdrawal was real.

Honestly, they could've probably finished quicker if I stopped refreshing to see if it was done.

Took delivery of my Tradesman yesterday, thought I would post some pix. Would love to trade off this chrome for black Bumpers and grill surround. Also tradesman with 8.4 non-nav IS CONNECTED VEHICLE. You can unlock, lock, horn, fuel level and locate and more. I have already modded my factory remote to drop tailgate and hope to have the sales code tomorrow. I ordered safety, tow tech and it came with hood ajar switch already installed so I'm hoping after adding remote start sales code I can use the RAM app to start also. Just being able to leave my keys in the truck and use the app to lock it is amazing. If there's any questions I can answer I'll be glad to do so as I have learned so much on this forum.
I ordered a very similar truck but with the 6.4.. that is awesome that it is connected. Please let us know if you get remote start from the app once you enable it.

Well my 3500 longhorn drw ho was scheduled to ship Saturday the 25th as of yesterday's update. Hope that's still true with the shutdown
