Mine is a power wagon level 2, towing tech package, dual alternator, no sunroof, bed protection package, delmonico redLOL, proof theres no rhyme or reason for what they are doing. What color?
Hmm, i ordered same color. Yesterday I suggested on here that possibly the color may be common denominator in the way they are making the trucks. No one agreed with me. Alot of people believe it has something to do with the trim level but I dont think so because they are building both loaded and base models all at once. They are also mixing MC, CC, etc all at the same time. They are making trucks that require few chips and trucks that require a truck load of chips. So maybe paint color may be the rhyme or reason????Delmonico Red. Also air, tow tech, night edition, 5er prep, Level A
It’s not a 2500 optionThat is the big question. I don't have a tractor or a skid steer YET. Just a 5th wheel. But seems like everyone in the family wants me to get a tractor or a skid steer. I did notice the 50-gallon tank on the 3500. Why is this not an option on the 2500 diesel? (I really hope this is not an option or I will die inside slowly)
50 gal is only available on a CCLB, it’s an option and not standard. That is the big question. I don't have a tractor or a skid steer YET. Just a 5th wheel. Unless something changed, you can get the 50 gal on the 2500 CCLB.It’s not a 2500 optionbest you can do is an aftermarket 52 that replaces the factory tank, or auxiliary inbed/replacement tire.
My only guess for the 2500 not offering it…payload maybe.
It is a possibility but i believe they are batch building per what they have parts stocked forHmm, i ordered same color. Mine is BH MC, 6.7, tow, sport, same color. Not much else for extras.
Just a heads up. A lot of dealers are posting ordered-but-not-built trucks on their websites and cars.com is picking it up. I checked a few laramies near me and their build sheets aren't even populating. So I'm starting to see trucks on lots using cars.com. Why the heck hasn't Ram updated their website!
Paint could be a factor. There is a paint shortage due to the winter weather that hit Texas and then the storms that just hit. I spoke with a buddy that said that his restoration business is slower not only due to parts but also the paint. I am in the pipeline business and we have seen this shortage of industrial paint so this could be one of the parts they are waiting for. I dont know the whole process of building/storage/paint/transportation. But it would make sense to me if they have a lot of black paint to do 2K worth of trucks and limited on the other colors, they would do the black trucks first. Just my 2 cents.Hmm, i ordered same color. Yesterday I suggested on here that possibly the color may be common denominator in the way they are making the trucks. No one agreed with me. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!Depends on the trim level. Laramie two tone lower is Billet Silver. Longhorn two tone lower is Walnut Brown.
Edit: and if you like both those colors you can get Walnut Brown upper w/Billet Silver lower on the Laramie and Billet Silver upper w/Walnut Brown Lower on the Longhorn. Haha!
no...Crew Cab....I probably should have got the Mega cab for the shorter wheel base....but I wanted the 8' bed and 50 gallon fuel tank. This sounds like mine, I’m probably on your same time frame!! Is yours a Mega Cab?
I just got my canned "waiting on parts" no movement; go have a drink response from Ramchat...If we could NOT have all the RamChat posts that state "Waiting on parts" or "got parts, waiting on scheduling"...that would be so nice. It's just a canned response. It can go back and forth on the same vehicle even. It means nothing... If they tell you it's built..cool. That it's waiting in a yard...cool. That it's shipping...cool.
Mines black, its been pushed back 3 times. But then again, the chips are black too!Paint could be a factor.
