2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

The level of anxiety on this thread is insane. HDRams should be able to prescribe benzo's to members waiting for new trucks. Don't change your orders based on speculation. Hold firm lol. It'll be ok until you get concrete information of changes... goooooooooos frabbbaaaaaaaa

GOOSFRABA!!!!

Hate to burst your bubble, but that doesnt mean anything unfortunately. We have all received that message as well. It is a standard / canned message from RAM customer service.
Last time I spoke with them they told me they were waiting on the parts for my build to be scheduled. This time they are saying parts have been received and build would be scheduled.

No idea. I’ll raise hell if they do. Going to get with my dealer today when they open, although I’m not counting on them knowing anything.
Because that always works. You guys are like a bunch of overgrown, whiny children! Consider the times we are in, all of the $hit going on in the world, all of the shortages of parts, people, labor and so on not to mention the whole covid issue that just further compounds the issues I've mention and be happy that you are able to even order a brand new truck and pay for it when it shows up. I was quoted 14-16wks when I ordered my truck and fully expected it to take the full 16wks, it was part of the process and explained to me when I placed the order. I don't get the clowns on here that post several times a day about chatting with Ram chat every couple hours for updates or the people that constantly reach out to their sales people and wonder why they never hear anything back, they are tired of hearing your same lame a$$ "where is my truck, when will it be built, why can't I change my option" and every other bull$hit questions you people pester them with. No one cares that you're on the brink of canceling you order, no one cares that you're going to "raise hell" with your dealer, it just makes you look like an a$$ to everyone reading your posts (and I hate to single you out as this isn't directed to just you, it is to the whole group of whiny babies in here). Just settle down, wait for your quoted time frame to show and then you have a right to complain after you've waited the said time. You are doing the dealer a favor and putting more $'s in their pocket if you cancel your order, they don't care, it's one less cry baby to deal with and they get to make more money off of someone that is willing to walk in, pick a truck and happily pay MSRP to get it today.

But,But,I dont use RamChat or my dealer....

Yep. That's what I'm doing. I'll be pleasantly surprised when it gets here with whatever changes (additions) as long as nothing is taken away.
I'm of the same mindset. Hoping for before January but it is what it is. If it comes changed dramatically from what i ordered, i may not take it and it just is what it is. But in the meantime this "Waiting Room" thread is excellent for entertainment and engagement lol

Trigger much? They make pills for that, come to think of it there are also other Forums. Could always ignore the posts and move on with your life.

Holy smokes man, rough night working on the Coyote?!?!

In all seriousness, everything you mentioned is spot on. Blame it on the culture we live in, our society expects everything right now. First WORLD problems my friend :).

black onyx is just a fancy way of saying shiny black. I think this means that all the silver/mirrored pieces in this screenshot would now be shiny black, instead of shiny silver. 1630514107700.png

I don’t care how long my truck takes to get here, so long as it arrives how I ordered it. I’ve never talked to Ram chat. I’ve never asked my dealer for a status update. I’ve never attempted to change options. I DO have the right to be pissed if the entire appearance of the truck I ordered changes, and it isn’t “crying” to contact my dealer to ask them if they have details on this. I work hard for my $, and spent a lot of it on the truck I ordered to my liking. If my truck is changing, I want to know. Take a Xanax and chill out.

Heh mine is still sitting in D. Gathering parts again. Now I am going to see if I can add the 5th wheel and 12” screen.

This... At the end of the day, Stellantis isn't a charity, nor are they a local business down on their luck due to the pandemic. If builds are delayed due to current events, that is one thing. If trucks are going to be delivered missing features or options we wanted, that's a completely different issue. Many of us will have these trucks for years to come, and ordered certain options packages for specific reason. I have no sympathy for folks who act get worked up when the local restaurant can't make your sandwich the way you want, but it's a totally different story here. I bet there is hardly a build in this thread coming in under $50k. We're talking about alot of money here!

I know there is alot of speculation going on, but unfortunately that is what happens when you take people's money, don't give updates, and drop random tidbits of information that seemingly conflict with what people have previously believed to be true.
