2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Here is more info,I would have gotten the Silver star package on mine.
@AndreaChapmanScottsdale can you weight in on the following?
1) BSM is now included in packages (like towing tech and safety group) and no longer a stand alone item. Will trucks that didn't order BSM but have a the towing tech and safety package receive it now?
2) Laramie's are no longer eligible for Night edition. What will happen to trucks that already have night edition ordered?

Thanks in advance!

Like I said, all personal preference, don't be offended. You like it and ordered white and I'm sure you will be very happy with it. Fortunately they make numerous colors and I happen to like Maximum Steel Metallic a lot better than any version of work truck white and that is what I ordered. And the wheels is what really makes the second post you made look like a work truck, change them to the wheels on the first two trucks you posted and they would look more like the same
No offence taken, the pearl white and bright white are night and day different, especially when parked next to each other. As for changing the wheels on the Tradesmen, ”work” trucks don’t usually have nice wheels or color keyed bumpers, etc. any color truck in my opinion looks like a work truck when ordered/driven in base Tradesman trim.

Even Maximum Steel can look like a “work” truck:

So are all of our (Laramie) Night Edition Orders getting converted to sport appearance package? How can we get confirmation of this? Really not looking to get a 75k truck with a bunch of cheap plastic chrome all over it
I really hope not. I have never had a truck with chrome on it really hoping I will not have to deal with it this time. That would be silly because my current Big Horn has a Night package on it.

Yeah that will really make me sad. Hopefully they let the existing ordered trucks through. I can't imagine there is any technical barriers to building Night Edition trucks

Still no wheel to wheel steps for the Longhorn. Dang it!
Not sure what you mean. Longhorn comes standard with wheel to wheel steps. No change. Unless they took them away...

Just found a 2022 bighorn heading to Larry Miller in Az with a night package so I think it shouldn’t be an issue

x2 on this.

I am hoping orders already accepted will be built as ordered and this will only apply to builds after the date this was implemented.

No idea. I’ll raise hell if they do. Going to get with my dealer today when they open, although I’m not counting on them knowing anything.

I hope that is the case. They were on the 2022 builder as a zero dollar option but if the dealer tried to add it the Limited Longhorn package got added which replaced them with the power boards.

Good news gents,

NG107754
3500 Limited (no sunroof) HO Cummins SRW with Level 1 package and night edition.

Just got an email from Ram Customer Service "confirming that parts needed for my build have been received..... and should be entering the build process very soon"

The level of anxiety on this thread is insane. HDRams should be able to prescribe benzo's to members waiting for new trucks. Don't change your orders based on speculation. Hold firm lol. It'll be ok until you get concrete information of changes... goooooooooos frabbbaaaaaaaa

Yep. That's what I'm doing. I'll be pleasantly surprised when it gets here with whatever changes (additions) as long as nothing is taken away.

Hmm...well if mine (Longhorn) comes with pwr boards, I'll take em!

Hate to burst your bubble, but that doesnt mean anything unfortunately. We have all received that message as well. It is a standard / canned message from RAM customer service.
