I understand….it’s just frustrating with the way things are these days

The dealer told me that both Equipment B and Tech are gone for the 2022 Bighorn.
If those packages are gone, then a Big Horn is nothing more than a Tradesman with carpet and better cloth seats. I ordered a Big Horn with Level B because I didn’t want leather but wanted the other cool gadgets. Ever sit down on a leather seat when it is 115 outside and 130 inside the truck….not enjoyable at all. Your ass cheeks will thank you for getting cloth seats. On a side note though, I checked with my dealer about level B and Tech and they have not heard that.

As far as I can tell, you can still order most of the things that were in the tech package with a Bighorn, but they are now priced individually and overall it is probably more expensive.

Where are you seeing these options? Is there a configurator available?

I wonder if mine is built. Dealer as of end of July hasn’t updated me on anything. Not even a vin. Ordered it on 6/19. Tradesman with snowchief package 8.4 screen and a few other so I’m hoping it’s built already.
No VIN?

They are busting up the chip intensive packages and give you a choice to go without certain items if you choose.

With all this talk of packages being trimmed down on big horns (presumably to save chips), any feelings or evidence out there that the same is/may happen to higher trims, like Laramie’s, LongHorn’s, or Limiteds?

My new fifth wheel is due in first week of October so hoping the truck follows shortly after with the options I ordered it with. Didn’t plan on going 5ver when I ordered the truck or would have gone CCLB instead of mega. So if I can’t get the truck the way I ordered I’ll pick up a 21 ram or even a used Ford instead. Fingers crossed. Wife already started booking camp spots for the new 35ft 5ver instead of our 30ft TT. And I’m pretty much renting the TT out full time at this point.
Look at the Anderson hitch. It offsets it enough to not worry about the 6.4 bed. It's also quick and easy to get in and out of the bed. My 15-year-old daughter had no trouble doing it herself. If you dry camp a bunch, it's also nice to have the ball because the articulation does not bind like a fifth wheel hitch if you get trailer level and the truck is not.

Yep. Anderson rocks. The only way to go now days since the 5th wheel corners are rounded now. Can go 90degrees short bed. 35 lbs. In and out in 5 minutes.

Meeting GM of dealership at dinner tomorrow. Guess I'll get an update. Mine was a Laramie with most all of the electronics. Last I heard it was supposed to ship 2 days ago.
I ordered Late June. Who knows.

I had an Anderson with my last fifth wheel. I went with a Reese Goosebox on my current grand design with a B&W offset ball. It is a superior setup and leave the bed completely clear! Been very happy with it. I ordered my new truck without the fifth wheel prep so I can put another B&W in that one.

Going to see if I can’t work a deal with a 21 at this point.

That’s currently what I’m doing now . Between my 22 being delayed and it’s a limited which is supposedly at the end of production and now my trade will lose value by the time my 22 is ready . Currently found a 21 with exact specs of my 22 just waiting to hear back on my trade .

Here is my 3500 Bighorn order 8-20-21 with A73 Level B Equipment Group and AA2 Tech Package with a VON, I received my VIN on 8-23-21 from Aaron at Mark Dodge.

So I'm not sure what has changed since last Friday

It’s sitting in the box in my garage already, lol.

No, just asking dealers. Unfortunately it's not available online, as far as I can tell. The two dealers I have been communicating with have been willing to try to piece together a tech package from different individual options.

Any luck? How much price difference?

I agree, I expect the price we agreed to at order time to be honored. But, in addition to the information above on the dealer's Buyers Orders, also at the bottom of the Build Order sheet from Mark Dodge (ad presumably all the rest), it says:

Note: This is not an invoice. The prices and equipment shown on this priced order confirmation are tentative and subject to change or
correction without prior notice. No claims against the content listed or prices quoted will be accepted. Refer to the vehicle invoice for final
vehicle content and pricing. Orders are accepted only when the vehicle is shipped by the factory.
Mine says Price protection ( canada)

I noticed that the tradesman level 2 group is diff between my window sticker and other window sticker tradesman.. any reason why? he has a 6.4 reg cab, i have a 6.7 CC but I can't see that causing a diff level 2 group. Any thoughts?
