2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My dealer sent me a text yesterday, said I was still in D1, but did not show a ship date.
Ordered 6-25-21. NG116809. 3500 Laramie gasser.
The dealership doesn't know the details either.
I'm surprised FCA doesn't share current info with their dealers.
I'll get the truck when I get it, but it would be nice to have a reasonable guess.
Ford's 2022MY build your own is up and running.
I can't even get a pic of the 22 RAM HD.
My thought exactly. Ram is s slow to the ball game here. Unacceptable that in the simple world of real time factory builds that there isn’t a program that links up directly to the dealerships. I guess their programs are quite as fast a Ford.

Anyone heard a round about number of how many orders are out there?

Also once they start production, how many do they produce a day for 2500’s?

Approximately 700 total HDs per day. Would depend on how many 2500 orders there are compared to the total.
Looking at the crowdsourced data sheet, roughly half are 2500s. So a semi-educated guess, all things being equal, would be roughly 350/day.

I like Ram Chat. It provides me with my morning entertainment. It reminds me of the movie Groundhog Day. I login and start the chat. I already know what they are going to say because I have been there before. Kind of like Deja Vu. Sometimes the info changes a little though, like one day they say all of the parts are in to build my truck and it should be going into production any day, just to have them say the very next day, they are waiting for parts with no ETA. I get a kick out of it...I really do. I am going to start a Ram Chat Pool. Like a football pool but for Ram Chat instead. Who wants a $5 square?

I think we later heard production is around 1,000/day total.

Hate to burst your bubble but it's all manufacturers. Guys are whining on the Mustang forums too, and the raptor and big diesel truck forums as well, it's all across the board. They all suck the same amount right now, lol

Curious does Ram batch their colors? Years ago my uncle ordered a F250 in burnt orange (availability around 2000) it took longer for him to get his truck because it was a low batch color. Me I ordered pearl white, which I think would be a low batch color for Ram unlike black, bright white, silver, ext...

Going by what others are saying in the various threads and checking the tracker, it sounds like they start with the lesser optioned models first then working up to the higher end/ more complicated trucks. Order would be Tradesman, Bighorn, Laramie and then Limited's.

Ideally,47 per hour and almost 1k per day, they dont divide them up,an HD is an HD,doesnt matter if its a 2500,3500.....

I saw a production number of 700 to 800 truckers per day pre covid supply chain issues. that number was across all models.

I hope no changes. I regrettably chose the Level 1 package, and it has all the “tech” options. I too got the bed step.

Why did you say "regrettably choose the Level 1 package"? That includes all in the Limited 3500 so that should be a good thing. I also got the Mopar Step and Snow Chief Group. I heard, not sure if on here, that the Limited will have a Grill Change? Anybody hear about that?
