2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Did a check on some of the 22's on their way to the dealers, most I cannot pull up the options on,none are in our database here and the numbers are all over the place, from 144776 BH,to 100184 Laramie.

That's kind of where I'm at right now. Either make them do the Trade in Affidavit for the agreed price, or back out of the order.
It may be hard to get a dealer to do a trade in guarantee with no end date depending on when an order comes in. I was able to sell my truck back in May at the height (got $7k more than I paid for it). If you can do without it, I'd sell it now. If not, I suppose you'll be at the mercy of the market.

Hey y'all. New here. I ordered my Laramie on May 18th and I've been stuck in the first stage of production since August 2nd. I'm sure my salesman is getting tired of the weekly "Any news?" Texts I send him.

On top of all this, the dealership has been holding onto my 2019 2500 Tradesman since I made the order. (Dealership is 2 hrs drive from me so I told them to hold onto it. I never signed it over) I have a work truck so it wasn't putting me into a bind. However... hunting season is getting close, and I need my truck to pull my tractor to the lease. So idk how much longer I can wait.

It's sad when the salesman let's you know that he put your trade in on a trickle charger because it's been sitting so long waiting on your new truck to come in.
No VIN?

I pulled the trigger and agreed to early trade my 2021 NOW as opposed to wait until my 2022 to get in. A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. Took a little less than I wanted, but that outweighed the unknown.

I do believe that when the truck availability improves (read 2022‘s being delivered), the market will take a hit on the newer used such as the 2020’s & 2021’s…

Can someone with higher knowledge check to see if these packages are available. I’m stuck in ordering limbo w my dealer?

2022 Ram 2500 bighorn mega
AA2- tech pkg
AL8 - bighorn silver edition

Also, is group C pkg missing 8.4 and power folding tow mirrors. Wasn’t listed. Can I get power folding tow mirrors?

I ordered a 2022 Big Horn 6.4’ with Level B (A73) and Tech Package (AA2). I don’t see on any configuration sites where I see a Level C.

I have a similar question to Savage99ss. I posted this as a standalone thread, but posting here as well in case anyone has insight.

I submitted a build this week for a 2022 Big Horn based on Ram's website, which is still listing the 2021 builds. The dealer got back to me and told me that Equipment B and Tech Package are no longer available. Equipment C is now available instead, and to complicate things, it has both added and removed things from Equipment B.

Does anyone have access to what packages are available for 2022, what is included in each, and the pricing?

And Savage99ss, to answer your question, yes Group C no longer has 8.4 and power folding tow mirrors (nor, as far as I can tell, floor storage). I've attached the new Group C here. I haven't been able to find the other 2022 packages.

Wonder how that works if ordered with a B now they change it? I ordered in June have not heard of any changes from salesperson.

When I ordered, the dealer provided me with both the A73 and AA2 package list for 2022. I wanted to compare them to the same A73 and AA2 package list for the 2021. How can they make changes to packages after orders are accepted?

CostcoAuto 2022 configurator and the NADA 2022 configurator still reflects the same packages that I ordered.

Ordered 2500 Mega Limited on 5/18. Had 8/19 ship date. Dealer just called and said truck is built and showing KZLD code meaning delayed. There is hope!!!
You should have a window sticker.

But you are seeing '22's actually shipping then? That's all I really want to see..that trucks are moving out.

Talked to dealer. All the big horns 2500s ordered via their system are requiring sport pkg or night edition. What the crap Ram.

Do you mean any big horn 2500s that have been ordered will have to change to sport pkg or night edition, or any that will be ordered from your dealer need to have sport pkg or night edition?

It might have something to do with a package or option you ordered. It requires one of those two to work with it.

Your order date might put you on the bubble for those packages.
What do you mean? How can they change it now since a vin number has been produced? I guess do you have inside info or just speculation?

It looks like C package removes the 8.4" Uconnect (doesnt matter i upgraded to the 12") and power fold and adjustable tow mirrors (covered by tech package).
