What did you do TO your RAM today?

Well, started yesterday and not done yet as it is stupid humid today but done enough...

Despite have a smidge of texture, OEM steps were a bit too slippery for my wife's taste so sanded, primed, and dabbed on first coat of Herculiner on the steps... humid as it is, second coat likely won't be done until tomorrow.

Just got truck back Friday from getting the Window tint and front end wrapped with LLumar Platinum Paint Protection Film.
I installed GoRhino running boards this morning.
I had those boards on my 2016 2500 that was also max steel. Nice!

Awesome truck! I ordered a '22 Limited Night Edition in the same color, it looks like I made the right choice!!

I replaced the cabin air filter and the engine air filter.

We carry a FWC Hawk camper with plenty of gear on our new 2021 3500 crewcab 4wd.
I was getting too much sway on rough trails (rocks 8 - 12") and added a pair of Timbrens DRT3500D to replace the factory bumpstops, after consulting with manufacturer.
They had me measure the distance from my axle to frame, unloaded, which was 7.25"

It was very easy with only four bolts to pull the OEM bumpstop. I didn't have to stretch the suspension either.

We recently did 160 miles to camp at Loon Lake, in Eldorado NF. It was a paved road trip, but the 15 mph switchbacks into the American River Canyon were a good test for body roll. We had our camper loaded, plus two 50# kayaks and racks on the roof.

I've also replaced the Firestone tires with Falken AT3 285/75R which just fit the spare storage beneath. I took a flat bar and bent the heat shroud a bit and got it to clear the tire.

A full 35” tire (35”x12.5” or 315/70R17) will fit down there... barely. Many of us Power Wagon guys have done it. I found I needed to deflate the spare, give the heat shield a couple whacks with a hammer, and then still had to fight it in there. Then reinflate once it’s in place, doesn’t need to be deflated to drop it since it has gravity(still a bit of a fight though)

Monday morning fun!!

Came out to a dead battery... hit the 'start' and nothing but a 'blink' and a 'pop' from the speakers.
Checked voltage and it was down to 10... I just drove it on Sat with no issue.

Quick trip to the store and new battery in place and started right up and only a little late to work, but now CEL is on and cameras don't work... will let it set and see if it figures itself out...

Well I would rather it happen while the weather is nice than before winter hits. But never a fun time to replace the battery (batteries).

Others that have experienced dead batteries say it takes up to a day for all the features to come back online.
