And that's why I despise car dealers!! They are some of the biggest crooks, thieves & liars I have ever met!! Well, next to politicians but that's a totally different topic that I don't want to talk about, lol. 99% of car dealers are low life scum, I left 1% for the decent dealers like Mark Dodge, Bud Clary and the very few others that seem to be forthright that have been mentioned on this site.

I also had to come to terms and just say they were giving me a much better price than what I could get locally here in Utah. In the end I decided to suck it up play their game and pay the $650...it's still a better deal than what I could get in Utah.

This was just from my build sheet (provided by Sandi). Their “configuration preview” only shows the packages at a high-level. They sent me a ”Priced Order Confirmation (POC)” that lists the details for each package I added (I think they can get this prior to actually ordering).

It’s possible but the changes to have to be accepted by the factory. I made changes a week after having a vin, and at that time it was in D1 status. The changes were accepted a week later and I have the updated POC reflecting that. Its worth pushing your dealer to submit the changes but they might not happen.

Was it through Mark Dodge? Did your MSRP change at all or were you just charged the difference for the added options?

It was not Mark Dodge. I removed 3 items and added 2 which increased my POC slightly. I still have the same deal but it’s now based on the new POC, If that makes sense.

I logged onto the dealer build system and printed off my POC in detail to show each package. I am sure the dealers can provide a detailed print out of each package, but I would have to play around in the system in order to find out how. Attached is my build with all of the packages detailed out.

They tried to tell me to pound sand and give me my deposit back... then they realized that I wasn't using their financing and doing their crooked deal, they backed off.

My money says their "safety kit" was the vehicle tracking kit to ensure recovery if you don't pay.

So is this from ram and done through Truecar? Looks like that just went kaput on me since I'm a few months from getting the ordered truck. Dang it!

when you click in view models, does it only list 2021s? That’s been the problem with current truecar stuff.
