Tccracer, I have a suggestion. Find another dealer in the area and ask them to do a dealer trade for your original truck. You likely have the VIN or enough info. The original dealer may be wise to it but it’s worth a try!

I had given that some thought but the dealer i spoke with thought they likely wouldn't give it up. I had checked their web site almost daily and never saw the truck show up. I have a feeling that it might have sold even before I got my deposit back, but I can't be sure.

Here’s another way to look for it - go to the Ram Truck website and rather than build one, click on search inventory. Put in the zip code for the dealer and pick the model of your original truck.

You can filter by dealerships and see if yours shows up. Also, other dealers can see inventory we can’t so find one that’s more friendly to your cause and ask them to do a locate. So sorry that you have to go through this but you did the right thing by walking away. Shame on them for putting their interest ahead of the customer’s.

Thanks, for the idea. So I had been doing that type of search but with the way the truck was equipped and didn't come up with anything. That was even a couple of days after they refused to sell me the truck.

So after I saw your message ,I decided to do a search just by the color of the truck and a Big Horn but didn't come up with anything. The closest truck I saw was about 80 miles away.

in addition to the agreement I wouldn't sign, the dealership sent me the paperwork they had some of it which they wanted me to sign, send back and they would notarize it.

I may have to wait for a 2020 order but I'm not happy about it. If they required the document, I feel like they should have told me before the order was placed. I would have found another dealership to order the truck from. I would be interested in talking with a dealer from North or South Carolina who doesn't require the document and would be interested in doing a dealer trade if the truck hasn't been sold. I may look around at dealerships to find one. I have been in contact with someone who can order me a 2020 when the order opens.

It was probably makes as a sold unit so not placed into inventory at dealership.

@RamCares, I just received my 2nd Ram Truck since the first one couldn't handle my 5th wheel and then the one today that came in on Monday was damaged and I wouldn't accept it and they are ordering another one.. Do you have any update on the TTPMS system, is it available yet, as they are entering the order right now as we speak, or type this... I am adding the tire pressure system that will honk when you are adding air pressure though since it shows Zero cost and it was included..

Hi @RamCares Can we get some clarification on what "available" means? Does that mean it will finally be added to the new production trucks?
Will it be available for retrofit for those of us who have trucks that we were sold being told it would have this feature and then blindsided when it didn't? Is RAM going to do the right thing and retrofit our trucks free of cost?

Well when NEW order was submitted last night, about an hour after I left dealership they called and told me the Tire Alert system was NOT available to order yet either.. Even though I was told the TTPMS was going to be on the first order, was hoping it would have been on 2nd order that showed up and was wrecked while unloading, and now since I didn't want to take delivery of that one they are saying I may lose MORE value on my 2500 by ordering another one...
Still want the TTPMS, Tire Alert would be nice because site shows the feature at no additional cost so why not, but told Nope, not out..

I ran into this same issue when I placed my order a few weeks ago. I saw the tire alert feature available on the ramtrucks.com build tool, but when I went into the dealership they couldn't find the sales code.

Ram Customer Care said they can go in and modify the order and add it if not too far already. I’m hoping dealership will go in and modify it ASAP because they told me it is fully available now. I went with Selective one because I want to manually set my own pressures.

I ran into this same issue when I placed my order a few weeks ago. I saw the tire alert feature available on the ramtrucks.com build tool, but when I went into the dealership they couldn't find the sales code.

The remote camera upgrade kit shows replacing the rear bumper connector to add the remote camera function. What I don't understand what happens if I use the 5th wheel connector in the box?

That plug is not replaced as part of the kit so does the NEW rear bumper plug feed the 5th wheel plug for the remote camera?

@RamCares. I just purchased one of the final 2019 Limited 3500 Dually with all options. This "Late Availability" truck (built 09/30/19) does not have the TTPMS options on the Driver Info Menu - despite the fact that it has been factory advertised by RAM this entire model year. Is there an update or anything further that is known? What is RAM planning to do to fix this issue for existing owners?

I too was under the impression when I ordered my first one it was included.y sales person even showed me in the catalog he gave me too. But since then I’ve had #2 and now #3 truck and still doesn’t have either. I hope it’s a fix later they can add.

My 2 cents on the TTPMS... you will likely be able to add it after the fact, but you will have to pay for it to be done... and I hope it isn't as craptastic as the camera...

Probably. But there are at least 4 factory promotional videos and brochures still touting the TTPMS as a feature of the 2019 3500 that can be viewed even right now.
If the feature was actually removed from production in Feb '19, but the sales brochures and videos promoting the feature continue an attempt to persuade you that it's there... then finally, RAM adds the qualifier "Late Availability" but even the latest models still don't include the feature - that's not much of an effort to avoid defrauding buyers.
